Welcome to the town of Venture Forth! You're gonna love it here...

...that is, if you enjoy back-breaking manual labour for very little pay. And you don't even get to take much of it home, because you've gotta pay off the debt you owe to the company you work for! They own your house, your computer, even the clothes on your back... And you can't escape them, because they paid for your shuttle here too! They own the damn planet!

Luckily, there are people who intend to change that.

Step into the shoes of four hot-headed, stubborn heroes who've never done an honest day's work for someone else's pay, and who are tired of dodging the robot cops and security drones. Turn the tables on them for once! Play as:

- Jackpot, a sharp-shooting slot machine who never misses... so long as she's got the credits to keep her gun loaded!

- Payout, a loan shark whose moral bankruptcy is inversely proportional to xir current wealth.

- Roulette, a walking 3D-printer with a malfunctioning fabricator; it's a gamble what she makes every time!

- And Two-Up, a literal walking apothecary who can get you whatever you need to get back on your feet... provided you can spare the cash.

And while our heroes may be questionably heroic, they're nothing compared to InterGalTech, the faceless corporation that owns the planet, the computers, the surveillance systems, the cops... even the shuttles off-world. In order to make the galaxy a better place, sometimes the bad people have to do bad things to the even worse people. And it's completely fine, so long as they're using the even worse people's money to do it... right?
